| Description: | Every parishioner is encouraged to become a part of a Sunday School offering. St. Martin's adult classes emphasize Christian education and fellowship, and provide a community in which you can develop your Christian understanding, a sense of belonging, and lasting friendships. All classes meet Sundays, 10:15-11:00 AM, except when special events are scheduled. Expanded descriptions and locations are listed below. For weekly topics, please click here. 10:15-11:00 AM Lectionary-Based Classes: For the adult Sunday school classes following the Lectionary, Advent 2012 was the beginning of Year C. Most of the readings in Year C come from the Gospels of Luke and John. Jesus is teaching the disciples what to expect at the End of the Age. Please join us each Sunday as we study God's word. We know not when the end will come, but we can be prepared for eternal victory. Activity Center, Family Room We are single, couples, married and with or without children. Please join us for an in-depth study, a great network of friends and fellowship. Room 210-212, Payne Education Center This group gathers each week for spiritual development, fellowship and a unified faith in Christ. Activity Center, Aerobics Room This class deepens their understanding of our weekly lectionary. 10:15-11:00 AM Bagby Parish Hall The Rev. R-J Heijmen and The Rev. Aaron M. G. Zimmerman will study 2 Corinthians: God's Power in our Weakness. Activity Center, Fellowship Room This group offers strength, encouragement and support, through fellowship and prayer, to those who are divorced or widowed, to single adoptive parents, to grandparents caring for a grandchild, or to those who have a spouse in the military. Vestry Conference Room This is a focused discussion class based on a weekly assigned reading from books written by respected theological scholars. Our annual curriculum includes a variety of topics from the Old Testament, the New Testament and current culture. Note: These classes will not meet on holidays or during Church campus closings.
