|Description:||This Quiet Day is open to both men and women of St. Martin's and will feature three devotional reflections by the Rev. Kate F. Picot, the Rev. Martin J. Bastian and Janie Putman (Christian Life Study leader). Each devotional, based around the theme of The God Who Sees Me, will be followed by personal quiet time for prayer, reflection, meditation, reading or journaling. We will observe a traditional Quiet Day format, ending with the Eucharist. Please join us for this day of rest and spiritual refreshment on Saturday, March 2 in the Old Church from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.|
RSVP by Wednesday, February 27; send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The cost of the Quiet Day is $15.00 per person, payable at the door (cash or check only). A box lunch will be provided. Child care is not available.
St. Martin's Daughters of the King has a long history of service in all aspects of St. Martin's parish life and the Houston community at large. As a group and individually, we provide hundreds of hours of service every month.
The Daughters of the King is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the historic Episcopate. Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating prayer and service in our daily lives.
