Our Mission
The mission of outreach at St. Martin's Episcopal Church is to model the love of Christ by helping the underserved, the disadvantaged, and others broken by life's circumstances. While providing immediate needs such as food, clothing and shelter, outreach volunteers also offer service, emotional and spiritual support. Funding is targeted toward Christian programs in the greater Houston area, particularly those with opportunities for our volunteers to build relationships through hands-on involvement.

2014 Grant Information Session
An Grant Information Session will be Wednesday, January 15th from 10:00-11:30 AM at St. Martin?s Episcopal Church, Bagby Parish Hall. An overview of the grant process will be given along with a questions and answer session. Reserve your spot at by January 13th at 5:00 PM. The maximum number per agency is two.


2014 Application Period
An application must be submitted between January 15 and March 17 (by 5:00 PM) to: Cyd Gillette, Director of Outreach Ministries, St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road, Houston, Texas 77056. No e-mail applications/documentation will be accepted.

Grant Application
All agencies seeking a grant award must be sponsored by a St. Martin?s member in good standing. Request for a grant application should be made by a St. Martin?s member to Cyd Gillette, Director of Outreach Ministries, at The application will then be sent via email from St. Martin?s Outreach Department to the agency. All applications will require a Member signature.  All requests will be competitively reviewed and awarded based on need and available resources. Two copies of the application and requested documentation are required. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

If you received a grant from St. Martin?s Outreach Ministries in 2013, you must complete a Grant Follow Up report. If you wish to apply for a grant in 2014, it must be included in the grant packets that you submit. The deadline to submit the follow up report is March 17, 2014 at 5:00 PM.
