The most important way to give to Outreach is through your pledge. Last year, more than $2.2 million was given to Outreach and Mission Giving. For those of you who have made your pledge to St. Martin's, keep in mind that a large portion of what you offer goes directly to the heart of what Jesus teaches in Matthew 25. For those of you who have not yet pledged, please do so as your support makes it possible to continue this important work in our community and beyond. Saint Martin's Endowment
Saint Martin's Endowment was incorporated in 1996 as a nonprofit corporation operated for religious, charitable and educational purposes. In 2011, the St. Martin's Foundation was merged with the Endowment. The mission of this corporation is to provide a means by which parishioners may financially support the Church now and in the future to meet needs that cannot be met by the operating budget and to provide additional support to the many outreach projects this Parish undertakes.
A gift to the Saint Martin's Endowment is a special way to remember or honor your loved ones on special occasions or holidays. Giving gifts, in memory of loved ones who have died, persons we wish to honor and for any other reason, is a fine way to ensure that the heritage of St. Martin's and its outreach work will continue. Those honored and the families of those remembered will be notified of your gift.
In order to appear in The Star on a particular special occasion or holiday, please submit your requests about 6-7 weeks in advance. Send your check to St. Martin?s Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road, Houston, TX 77056 enclosing a note, indicating the names of those being "honored" or "remembered." Please include your name, address, telephone number and information on others to be notified. Should you have further questions, please contact Deb Tisch at 713/985-3817 or email@example.com.
St. Martin's Outreach Department monitors the needs of those groups and agencies supported by St. Martin?s Episcopal Church. Beneficiaries include, but are not limited to, Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group, The Gathering, St. Martin's Health Fair, and others. Additional gifts may be made by purchasing a greeting card from The Giving Tree; please visit the Bookstore & Gift Shoppe for more information.
