The Blanket Ladies meet Wednesdays, 10:00 AM-noon, in the Activity Center Family Room. They make cotton flannel receiving blankets for newborn infants at local charity hospitals. The Assisted Living Ministry is a group of Lay Pastoral Visitors that goes to nursing/retirement homes each Sunday morning and conducts a service for the residents. The service is over in time to get back to St. Martin's for the 11:15 AM service. Services are Morning Prayer on all but the first Sunday, which is a communion service. The Pastoral Care ministry will train all volunteers. This is an extremely rewarding ministry. We would love to have you join us! The next Gathering is Monday, June 24, 10:00 AM-1:30 PM, in Bagby Parish Hall.

This Senior Ministry is part of the Pastoral Care Ministries, which endeavors to use its time and gifts to serve Church members and others in our community who suffer with memory loss. The program provides a safe and loving environment filled with creative and stimulating activities for care partners, and allows their care givers respite from the day-to-day care and often difficult support required by care partners.

The Gathering's activities are centered around the timeless connection of music - singing favorite songs together; enjoying the camaraderie of games; reminiscing with friends who can relate to their experiences; making new friends while participating in fun craft projects and sharing the fellowship of a good meal. The Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 3:00-4:30 PM, in Room 103, The Hope and Healing Center. The next meetings are on Monday, July 1 and July 15.

Do you have a loved one or know someone with Alzheimer's? Then this is the group for you. Come and learn how to cope with this disease and help your loved one adjust. The support group is filled with individuals affected by Alzheimer's, all who are facing difficult situations from which you can learn. We talk about our families and share tips.     The Prayer Shawl Ministry is open to everyone and is part of the Community of Hope outreach to our parishioners. Our purpose is to knit God's love, care and warmth into our shawls and have them blessed before giving them away. If you don't knit, we will help you learn how, or encourage you to start knitting again. We meet Tuesdays, 9:30-11:00 AM, in the Activity Center Family Room.     The Blanket Ladies meet Wednesdays, 10:00 AM-noon, in the Activity Center Family Room. They make cotton flannel receiving blankets for newborn infants at local charity hospitals. It is estimated that over 45,000 blankets have been made by these hard-working, wonderful ladies. Come join this group and share some fun, fellowship and love. Call Sally DeWalch.

    Wed., Aug 07The Order of St. Luke the Physician Healing Prayer Service
    On the first Wednesday of each month, the St. Martin's chapter of the Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL) holds a healing prayer service for anyone in need of prayer for themselves, friends or family, from 5:00-6:00 PM in the Old Church. All interested parishioners are invited to come and take part in this service, as well as bring anyone else who would like to receive prayer, anointing and the laying on of hands.

    The Assisted Living Ministry is a group of Lay Pastoral Visitors that goes to nursing/retirement homes each Sunday morning and conducts a service for the residents. The service is over in time to get back to St. Martin's for the 11:15 AM service. Services are Morning Prayer on all but the first Sunday, which is a communion service. The Pastoral Care ministry will train all volunteers. This is an extremely rewarding ministry. We would love to have you join us!     Mon., Aug 19Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group
    The Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 3:00-4:30 PM, in Room 103, The Hope and Healing Center. The next meetings are on Monday, August 5 and August 19.

    Do you have a loved one or know someone with Alzheimer's? Then this is the group for you. Come and learn how to cope with this disease and help your loved one adjust. The support group is filled with individuals affected by Alzheimer's, all who are facing difficult situations from which you can learn. We talk about our families and share tips.
