Wednesdays in Lent, the Island
Dates: February 24; March 3 and 10; and March 24
During the season of Lent, Omega Cafe will be open at the Island as we "Journey with Jonah!" through 4 weeks of discussion about what God is calling us to do in our lives and actions.
Omega Cafe will not meet on March 17.

| | Wed., Mar 24 | Wednesdays in Lent (youth) - High School Confirmation ClassIn addition to our annual 8th grade Confirmation class, we are offering Lenten Confirmation classes for those high school students, grades 9-12, who have not yet been confirmed. St. Martin's offers a 4-week Confirmation class during Lent. This class will meet from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Parlor (this class will not meet on March 17).

The Choristers then processes and sing during the Sunday 9:00 AM worship service (along with the Training Choir and Shepherd Choir). They also sing anthems both alone and with the Parish Choir. During the sermon hymn, they return to Room 202, Payne Education Center for rehearsals and vocal technique training. This group is directed by Catherine Hausmann, with Ophelia Pujol and Kellen Gray assisting with rehearsals. They master the liturgical responses, canticles, hymns and service music sung by the Parish each week.
