Membership – Get Involved Membership – Get Involved Name(Required) First Last Email(Required) Enter Email Confirm Email Children Sunday School Teachers – Assist or teach children’s Sunday School for children K – 5th grade or be a storyteller for pre-K Seasonal Helper – Help with short-term family mission trips, Christmas pageant, back-to-school greeter, Communion reception or Lent/Palm Sunday Vacation Bible School – Serve as a volunteer or a committee member Young Adults 20s & 30s Ministry − Assist with Bible studies, small groups and outreach projects for young adult singles and couples without children Men Dads’ Bible Study − Weekly Bible study for dads of children that seeks to connect the Gospel to our lives today Men of St. Martin’s − Offers Bible studies, prayer, service projects and fellowship for all men of the Parish Small Bible Study Groups – Participate in one of several small groups that meet weekly for Bible study and prayer Ushers − Men’s ministry that greets and assists during worship services and/or funerals (schedule flexibility provided) Women Christian Life Study − Women’s weekly Bible study and fellowship opportunities Daughters of the King − Ministry for women committed to prayer, service and evangelism Episcopal Church Women (ECW) − ECW provides year-round events, fellowship and service projects for all women of the Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry − Knit or crochet God’s love, care and warmth into shawls The Moms’ Group − Fellowship through scripture study, prayer, and outreach opportunities for moms of newborns through 12th grade students All Adults Blanket Ministry − Make blankets for newborn infants at local charity hospitals Docent Guild − Team of men and women trained to help with providing guided tours for those who come at prescheduled times to tour The Church (one year membership required before joining this group) Education for Ministry (EfM) – A four-year weekly class to give a good grounding in the Bible and theology; developed and administered by the University of the South School of Theology; meets September – May Greeters Guild − Extend a warm welcome to attendees at traditional worship services in The Church Just For − Small groups of 10–12 that meet for 4 weeks in homes or on-campus to study a designated chapter of the Bible or another text Local Mission Work – Help at Houston-area Outreach projects Lydia’s Guild − Team of men and women that replenishes and adds pew rack materials on an ongoing monthly basis (schedule flexibility provided) Music Ministry − Participate in the Parish choir or hand bell choir, or assist by organizing sheet music or choir robes, and in other practical service opportunities Needlework Groups − Meet regularly for fellowship/service and use stitching for the beautification of The Church and for Outreach Order of St. Luke − A healing ministry that hosts a monthly prayer service and meets every week for group study and prayer Prayer Ministries − Several prayer groups meet weekly and biweekly Shepherd’s Guild – Trained lay people who visit parishioners and take communion to those who are homebound, or reside in a retirement or living assisted facility World Missions – Participate in international mission trips and serve outside of Houston Δ
