Eric Priest
Eric Priest is a fourth (at least) generation Houstonian. He holds a degree from the University of Houston in Music Education and an M. Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary – Orlando. He was ordained in the Presbyterian church. Eric has worked at churches in the Houston area and The Netherlands. Before joining St. Martin’s staff, he was a beloved math teacher in local schools (as much as any math teacher can be described as “beloved”).
At St. Martin’s, his duties mainly revolve around our services that meet in the Parish Life Center. He is the music leader for Family Table and helps with the Riverway contemporary service by preaching, playing in the band and assisting our volunteers. He also is engaged in the Children’s Ministry.
Eric Priest is the father of two children who serve as acolytes and are active in the Student Ministries. Outside of work and family life, Eric enjoys Astros baseball, radio drama, performing and listening to music and the novels of P. G. Wodehouse.
