The Rev. Elizabeth Miller
The Rev. Elizabeth A. Miller joined St. Martin’s Clergy team in April as Pastoral Associate. The Rev. Miller is a cradle Episcopalian and a native southeast Texan who grew up in Orange. She attended Southwestern University and obtained a degree in International Studies, followed by a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Houston.
After teaching Spanish, French, History and serving as a school counselor, the Rev. Miller and her husband, John, settled in Beaumont for 23 years where they raised their three children. In 2015, she entered the Iona School of Ministry in the bi-vocational priest program of the Diocese of Texas.
In 2018, the Rev. Miller joined Trinity Episcopal Church in Anahuac as its spiritual leader and deacon in charge. In 2019, she was ordained and served the church as Vicar for five years. The Rev. Miller and her family now live in Houston where her husband works as a radiologist at Methodist Hospital.
