Walking the Mourner’s Path

Walking the Mourners Path is a ministry focused on prayer and presence, formed around the question, “Where is God in my pain?” This program is designed for individuals who have lost a loved one more than nine months ago, addressing an unmet need within faith communities by providing effective support for those who are grieving.

Wednesdays, Oct. 1-Nov.9
4-5:30 p.m.
Chapel Reception Hall

Limited to eight participants, the ministry consists of eight weekly workshops centered on Christ and grounded in Scripture. Throughout these workshops, participants come to understand that they are not alone in their grief and the healing can begin through the constant presence of Christ’s love.

Each workshop lasts one and a half hour and is led by two trained facilitators along with a member of the clergy. Sessions include prayers, exercises, reflections and homework, guiding the group as they navigate the mourner’s path together.
