
During the Lenten season, we’re moving from our walk through the life and teachings of Christ to focus on the passion, cross and atoning death of Jesus, which Paul says the world sees as “foolishness” (1 Corinthians 1:23). To the Greeks, the concept of a God suffering and dying on a cross was “folly” as it related to their logic and pursuit of wisdom.
