A Farewell Celebration
Please join us Sunday, Sept. 27, following the 11:15 a.m. services in Bagby Parish Hall as we celebrate the Rev. Martin J. Bastian retiring from his role as Vice Rector after three decades of faithful, ordained ministry at St. Martin's Episcopal Church.
All Parishioners and friends are invited to attend this milestone to praise God and thank the Rev. Bastian for his extraordinary ministry.
This gathering will be an opportunity for the Parish to express its gratitude to a priest who has celebrated innumerable baptisms and weddings, preached at countless funerals and walked alongside families through some of life's most sacred and difficult moments.
St. Martin's is deeply grateful for the Rev. Bastian's three decades of leadership and looks forward to honoring him alongside the many volunteers, families, Clergy and Staff whose lives he has shaped along the way.

Special Parish Fund Honoring the Rev. Martin J. Bastian
As a Parish, St. Martin's Episcopal Church has been tremendously blessed by the Rev. Bastian's extraordinary service and dedication. A Special Parish Fund has been set up in his honor. To make a tax- deductible contribution, please do so during August and September. The Church maintains variance power over all donations, and from these gifts will determine a reasonable amount in accordance with IRS regulations for compensation, to be shared with the Rev. Martin J. Bastian.

To contribute by check, please make it payable to "St. Martin's Episcopal Church" with "Special Parish Fund in honor of the Rev. Bastian" in the memo and mail it to the Church. You may also deliver the check in a sealed envelope to the Reception desk M-F 9 a.m.-4 p.m. or place it in the offering plate by Sept. 30, 2026.
