On All Saints’ Day, we celebrate the communion of saints — those holy men and women who have gone before us and whose faithful service lives continue to inspire. In the Sacrament of Baptism, we welcome new members into the Body of Christ through water and the Holy Spirit. Holy Baptism is especially fitting on All Saints’ Day, one of the Episcopal Church’s principal baptismal occasions.
All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, remembers the faithful departed with gratitude and commends them to God’s eternal care.
