Golden Butterfly Bakers is a nonprofit in the Greater Houston area solely dedicated to providing baked goods to homeless and recovery organizations, and human trafficking and youth rescue facilities to foster hope and emotional healing. They distribute their baked goods by partnering with other established non-profit, charitable, 501(c)(3) organizations in the Houston area providing services to the homeless, transitional housing for youth and adults previously homeless or in addiction recovery, other organizations serving those in need, and prisoners seeking a new way of living through the Kairos prison ministry.

Volunteers are needed to scoop dough, mix ingredients, and package cookies and baked goods to be sent all over Houston. Families are encouraged to join, children 8+. Children 8-17 must be accompanied by adult. Please wear closed toe shoes and bring a hat.

Volunteer opportunities are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays. 9 a.m. -12 p.m. St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Blvd, 77019.
